This Privacy Policy applies to LeakProtection, a service operated by Deleak.co ("we", "us", "our"). Our service helps online course creators monitor and suppress unauthorized distribution of their digital content across the internet.

2. Data We Collect

When you submit a Free Leak Scan request or otherwise contact us through our website, we collect the following personal data:

• First name and last name — to identify and address you correctly
• Email address — to send you the results of your leak scan and, if applicable, communicate about our services
• Phone number — optional; used only if you provide it, for direct communication related to your request
• Course URL or course name — the specific information required to perform the leak scan you requested

We do not collect payment information, browsing cookies for tracking, or any special categories of sensitive personal data.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data exclusively for the following purposes:

• To perform the free leak scan you requested and deliver results to you via email
• To contact you with the outcome of your scan (typically within 12–24 hours)
• To follow up once regarding our paid LeakProtection services, if relevant to your situation
• To respond to any questions or communications you initiate with us

We will not use your email address for unsolicited marketing, newsletters, or any purpose beyond direct communication related to your request.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the basis of your explicit consent, given when you tick the acknowledgment checkbox on our scan request form. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us at info@deleak.co.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers — we use email infrastructure (hosted on our own VPS at mail.deleak.co) to process communications. No third-party email marketing platforms are used.
• Legal obligations — if required by law, court order, or regulatory authority, we may be required to disclose your information.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected — typically no longer than 12 months from the date of your scan request, unless an ongoing service relationship exists.

You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8 below).

Subscription Data Retention

For paid subscribers, we retain customer email, payment metadata such as Stripe customer ID and subscription history, onboarding data, and limited card metadata such as the last four digits when available. We do not store full card numbers.

We retain subscription account data for as long as your subscription is active. Upon cancellation, we retain account data for 90 days for accounting and tax purposes, then delete it unless we are legally required to keep it longer.

Stripe processes your payment data. We do not store full card numbers or full payment credentials. You can read Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our email infrastructure uses TLS encryption for data in transit.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights under applicable data protection law:

• Right of access — to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Right to rectification — to request correction of inaccurate data
